The Rockies were in Beiseker on October 18 for the first ever Hockey ROCKS program, proudly sponsored by EnCana. Players aged 4 to 12 were able to learn the game of hockey from some of the best women's hockey players in the West, in this fun-filled day that included skill development, nutritional information, and games.
Welcome
The mission of the Strathmore Rockies is to contribute to the development of the game of hockey for local girls, provide exposure for the Strathmore and surrounding communities in western Canada, and increase the awareness of women's hockey nationally. Our team will develop role models for aspiring players, add to the community through involvement in local charities, and offer a competitive environment for women to play and grow as elite athletes while maintaining a personal and professional career. The Strathmore Rockies are committed to delivering the highest quality of professional hockey entertainment and creating positive memorable experiences for all of our supporters.

The Family Centre acts as hub of recreational programs in Strathmore. Built in 1990, the Gold Arena has 700 seating in bleachers, with the potential for 500 more seats on the floor.
